Hi there, today I wanted to share with you the best concert I have ever been, although I have to say that I haven't been in a lot of concerts, this one was the one I enjoyed the most. It was back in 2017, I was on my first year in the University and my aunt invited me to go see Inti-Illimani, one of my favorite bands in that particular moment (and still today), and she knew that.
A bit about Inti-Illimani, they were a chilean band from the late 60's until the early 2000's when they disolved and separated into two versions of Inti-Illimani, ''Histórico'' and ''Nuevo'', (we went to see Inti-Illimani Nuevo). They were one of the most popular bands of the musical movement called Nueva Canción Chilena.
I remember that it was a very like small and intimate event in a mall, no more than 50 people, and I remember that we got there really early and we sat on the first row of seats so we could watch them perform at a close distance. I loved every moment of it and every song they played, they sounded exactly like in the recorded versions and that was amazing !!!

I like how they play their instruments differently, but together they sound wonderful
ResponderEliminari love intiillimani historico. we used to sing their songs in the school.
ResponderEliminarI also remember how they gave colors to my days when radio "uno" existed.
When I was in kindergarten I has a classmate who only sings Sama Lando, every day!
ResponderEliminarIt's a fantastic band. If they sound so good on CDs, I can't imagine how they sound in a concert.
ResponderEliminarI´m also fans of Inti Illimani, I spoke to Jorge Coulón once and he was amazing :)
